Virgina Santesteban(Double Degree of Pharmacy and Nutrition) has received the award for her programs of study in the Degree of Human Nutrition and Dietetics "with great enthusiasm". Although she was already "nominated" in the Pharmacy Degree two years ago, this recognition makes her even more excited "because almost from the beginning of the double Degree I had a preference for food". Begoña Tapia (Pharmacy) also felt great pride when she received the award, especially "for the effort involved in obtaining it": "I feel grateful for all the support that both the teachers and my tutor and my family have given me during these five years of hard work work. I am proud to represent a class in which I consider that the academic level has always been high," adds Begoña.

In the opinion of Virginia, who now works as a nutritionist at the CUN, there are no secrets to achieving good grades at . Clínica Universidad de Navarra (CUN), there are no secrets to achieving good grades during the degree program: "I have achieved my grades through hard work. I missed class on a few occasions. I looked at the notes every day and underlined the most important things, I understood them... So, when I started studying for the final exams, I already had everything internalized. It was a matter of reviewing again. And I'm not in favor of memorizing either, but of understanding things, internalizing them". She also believes that you have to know how to disconnect: "Not even during exams did I ever stop doing sports for a while to clear my head... If you've been 'watching the shrews' for a while, it's better to stop and start again a while later," she adds.

Begoña adds to this advice to be organized in your studies: "The core topic is to be well organized, to be constant in your studies and to try to control your nerves for the exams. During the course, papers and internships keep you very busy and it's easy to get overwhelmed. That's why I believe that organization is essential to respect the moments of rest and to arrive at the exam calm and self-confident".

"attend to class is 50% of success."

As committee to students who start the Degree, Virginia recommends to always go to class:"It is 50% of success and saves a lot of study time. It is also important to have good notes, your own, not those of your classmates, because you can make the mistake of not understanding them, but only memorizing them". And he adds "participate in the activities of teachers and organizations that ask for the partnership of students during the degree program, as they facilitate a training more internship, more real and with which you learn a lot. And, of course, be patient. This degree program is long, but it is worth it".

Begoña agrees with the perception that a 5-year degree program can take a long time: "My committee is to try to maintain the enthusiasm and desire of the first day. Take it one step at a time and set goals that are close to you. Work hard and do your best in whatever you find most difficult, without forgetting to enjoy the university stage".

Next year Virginia will continue to study the doctorate in Food, Physiology and Health at the University, which she combines with her work in the Endocrinology and Checkups Service of the CUN, where she has been working as a nutritionist since September: "It is a challenge that excites me a lot because it combines the work, which I am passionate about, with the research. My goal is to never stop learning, and this is a good way to keep on learning", ends Virginia.

Begoña, for her part, is preparing for the spanish pharmacy residency program exam (Resident Pharmacist Intern): "This program combines two aspects of pharmacy that I like: laboratory and clinical pharmacy. During the residency program I do not rule out doing the doctorate, as the research also appeals to me. I still have a long way to go to become a good health professional, and I am very excited to start a new stage to reach that goal", culminates the graduate, award extraordinary of the Degree Pharmacy 2016.
