780 participants at workshop de la Nieve 2017
The Sports Service celebrated the traditional Snow Day in Panticosa with skiing and snowboarding events.
Last Saturday, January 28th, took place the workshop de la Nieve 2017 in which 780 people participated between students and professionals of the University. From the campus in Pamplona there were 670 skiers who joined the workshop in ten buses and from San Sebastian, 110 participants in two buses. This year the destination resort was Panticosa and the eleven buses departed there.
The skiers were able to enjoy a good day with sunny weather and the snow was in good condition thanks to the overnight snowfall.
During the day took place the Trophy President of ski and snow. The winners by categories were:
Women's alpine skiing
1st Maitane Urrestilla (TECNUN) 31' 96".
2nd Ane Rica (TECNUN) 33'64".
3ª Melinda Burton (ADE+Derecho) 34'13".
Men's alpine skiing
1st Oier Coretti (TECNUN) 32' 96".
2º José Olmedilla (Medicine) 33'06".
3rd Markel Donoso (ADE bilingual) 37'04".
Men's snowboarding
1st Francesco Militano (CIE) 52'42".
2º Javier Urricelqui (Medicine) 56'37".
