The School of Pharmacy of the University of Navarra organized, last 27th, the third edition of the International Lunch. It is a meeting in which its international students participated preparing a typical set of their country.

On this occasion, more than twenty students from the Degrees and postgraduate programs of the School, from countries such as the United States, Italy, Bulgaria, the United Kingdom and Brazil, brought part of their culture in the form of food. They were able to taste the Spanish tortilla de patatas (potato omelette) or the Italian ciambellone with cocoa.

According to Alfonso Vericat, director of development of the academic center, "this initiative is an opportunity for students to interact, learn about other cultures and strengthen ties with the School".

Betting on the internationalization

In the 2014-2015 academic year, School has 55 international students (15 from Degree, 16 from postgraduate program and 24 taking a semester). In turn, more than 65 students from the center are doing part of their training abroad (24 doing supervised stays and 40 studying half a year at another university).

With these programs of exchange, its two international diplomas (the International Pharmaceutical Certificate and the International Nutrition Certificate) and the international projection of its postgraduate programs (Master's Degree European in Food and Metabolism and the Master's Degree in research, development and Innovation of Medicines), the School of Pharmacy reinforces its commitment to the internationalization, growing this 2014-2015 by 15% its international outreach compared to the last course.
