Two thesis were defended at the Ecclesiastical School of Philosophy: “The Philosophy of Arthur Peacocke,” by Augusto César Heluy Dantas, and “The Immortality of the Soul in Aristotle According to Baroque Scholasticism: Domingo Báñez, Francisco de Toledo, and Francisco Suárez,” by Antonio Ñahuincopa Arango.

José Ángel García Cuadrado participated by videoconference in the inauguration of the Week of the Philosophy of the seminar of St. Joseph of Rio de Janeiro. He addressed 'The spiritual dimension of culture: Education, art and religion'.

Juan Alonso has begun a period of research as Visiting Scholar at the Catholic University of America (Washington DC, USA). The stay includes a first period of two months at The National Institute for Newman Studies (Pittsburgh), where he will participate in the Newman Scholarship Program, aimed at scholars of the thought of Blessed John Henry Newman.

"Theological Identity of the Lay Faithful" was the degree scroll José Ramón discussion paper presented at the congress Second Vatican Council – Springtime of the Church, congress organized by the School of Science and the School of Theology Nicolaus Copernicus University (Toruń, Poland).

Miguel Lluch has given some sessions with colloquium at high school Irabia (Pamplona), aimed at parents and teachers. The first was in September, on 'The precedents of the Second Vatican Council'; the second was held in October under the degree scroll 'Introduction to the texts of the Council: Constitutions, Decrees and Declarations'; and the third and fourth will be in November and December and will deal with the New Evangelization and the Year of Faith. This last issue has also been the focus of a session with colloquium for university students of the high school Mayor Santa Clara (Pamplona), entitled 'The Year of Faith: what does it mean to believe in life staff'. On the other hand, he offered a session with colloquium for parents of the association Onabide: 'About faith: a gift and a response. What is the essential approach to believe?

Félix María Arocena gave a talk on "The Eucharistic Mystery" at the parish of San José de la Montaña in Madrid, Spain, at lecture . He also participated in the concelebration of the Eucharist in the Spanish-Mozarabic rite at the Monastery of the Immaculate and St. Paschal, of the Poor Clare Sisters.

Pablo Blanco has offered a lecture in the high school Mayor Bonaigua (Barcelona) on the theological method in Joseph Ratzinger, for teachers of Theology. He also spoke on 'Faith and reason in Benedict XVI' at high school La Vall in the Catalan capital.

The School of Education of the International University of Catalonia invited Josep Ignasi Saranyana as speaker for the inauguration of the Postgraduate course Ecclesiastical Declaration of skill Academic (DECA). Professor Saranyana gave a lecture on Benedict XVI and the Year of Faith. [+]
