The students of the Master's Degree in research and development+i of Medicines will be able to work in first level companies.
In this edition, 40 projects have been offered in companies such as Rovi, Hoffmann-La Roche, Ojer Pharma and Geiser Pharma.
The students of the Master's Degree in research, development and Drug Innovation (MIDI) of the School of Pharmacy of the University of Navarra will carry out their Final Projects Master's Degree (TFM) in first level companies. In this XXV edition of postgraduate program , 40 projects have been offered in institutions, laboratories and technological centers such as Laboratorios ROVI, Hoffmann-La Roche, Ojer Pharma, Geiser Pharma, Progenika Biopharma-Grifols, the Centro Superior de Investigaciones Científicas, the research center Médica Aplicada and the University of Navarra.
For six months, MIDI students will be integrated into the professional teams of the companies in the areas of preclinical and clinical research , quality, registration and management of the research. There, they will carry out their TFM that seek, for example, to deepen in genomics, synthesize new antitumor molecules, design new compounds against malaria and Chagas disease or participate in the development and production of new drugs within the pharmaceutical industry.
According to Professor Ariane Vettorazzi, coordinator of Master's Degree, "The wide variety of projects demonstrates the clear University-Business relationship and the complete vision offered by Master's Degree of the pharmaceutical industry. It is a question of responding to the demand for these profiles from companies and research centers, something that is evidenced by the high employment rate of our postgraduate program".
