Reform of the Roman Curia
The election of Pope Francis has raised great expectations for a reform of the Roman Curia, which financial aid to the Pope in the governance of the universal Church. The so-called Vatileaks - the theft and leaking of Benedict XVI's correspondence - which has caused great scandal may have contributed, but the need to reform the Roman Curia responds to deeper reasons.
