Sexual Health Law
The Draft Bill of the Sexual and Reproductive Health Law has just been submitted to the parliamentary commission approve . The initial project raised many voices of opposition, both in the street and among the socialist ranks.
However, the Government has tightened the law even more, as a result of pressure from its partners IU and ERC. Once again, the will of a few, very few, is imposed on almost everyone.
The law foresees dedicating 100 million for the latest generation of contraceptives. A waste of money in a time of crisis. Are there not more urgent uses for this money? The law enshrines the right to abortion, instead of the "decriminalization" that has existed until now. Killing an unborn human being is a right. Something like I have the "right to kill a human being" in self-defense.
One thing is that it is not a crime to kill in self-defense and another that it is a right. The law increases the maximum deadline for abortion to 22 weeks, for psychological reasons. At 22 weeks (6 months), the child can already be viable, according to the World Health Organization. Finally, the right of parents to be informed of the abortion of their minor daughter is not clearly recognized. A minor girl cannot have a piercing without parental authorization, but she can have an abortion. If a mishap occurs, whose responsibility will it be?
The law also requires that sexuality classes be taught in all public and private schools. From agreement. But it opens the door for public officials to teach these classes. If this is preceded, the sexual Education is taken away from the parents and given to the public power.
And this in a topic as delicate as sexuality, component core topic of affectivity and family relationships. It seems that the Government is determined to impose its vision of the person, the family and society on all of us.
We complain about the lack of values that we sometimes notice in society. Well, if we want our children to be educated in a culture devoid of values and where only immediate pleasure is what moves them, the quickest way is to trivialize sex.
If we accustom our children to use another person, just for the sexual pleasure it brings, and then put them aside, let us not be frightened if in time they "use" people instead of respecting them. We alone will be responsible for the lack of values, since we are the ones who taught it to them.
