Intellectual property

The University of Navarra, as the author of the collective work (art. 8 of the Intellectual Property Law, LPI) that constitutes its website, is the owner of the intellectual and industrial property rights of its websites; it is also the owner or has the corresponding licence over the intellectual, industrial and image property rights of the contents available through the same.

Under no circumstances shall it be understood that access to and browsing of Username implies a Withdrawal, transmission, licence or total or partial transfer of these rights by the University of Navarra.

Consequently, it is not permitted to remove, evade or manipulate the notice copyright and any other data identifying the rights of the University of Navarra or its owners on the websites, with data identification being understood to mean any mechanism of individualisation as well as the technical protection devices, digital fingerprints or any other information mechanisms that may be present in the contents.

In particular, the University of Navarra expressly objects to the reproduction of its pages being considered as quotation, under the terms of the right of quotation provided for in article 32.1. 2nd paragraph of the LPI.

It is forbidden to remove or manipulate the copyright indications or other credits that identify the holders of the rights of the contents that Username finds on the Website, as well as the technical protection devices, or any mechanism or information incorporated into the contents offered on the Website.

In the event that the Username wishes to acquire a licence to use the contents of the websites in any way, he/she must request it in writing to the following email, in which the conditions for its concession will be established: webmaster@unav.edu

References to registered trademarks or trade names, or other distinctive signs, whether owned by the University of Navarra or by third parties, imply a prohibition on their use without the consent of the University or their legitimate owners.

If Username has knowledge of the existence of any content that is illicit, illegal, contrary to the law or that could imply an infringement of intellectual or industrial property rights, or of any other kind, it must immediately notify the University of Navarra via the e-mail address webmaster@unav.edu so that it can proceed to adopt the appropriate measures.

Similarly, in the event that any Username or third party considers that any of the contents of the Website owned by the University infringes their intellectual or industrial property rights, or any other rights, they should send a speech to webmaster@unav.edu with the following information:

1) data and means of contact of the complainant or his/her legal representative.

2) Documentation accrediting your status as the Holder of the allegedly infringed rights.

3) Detailed account of the rights allegedly infringed by the University, as well as their exact location on the Website.

4) Express statement by the complainant that the use of the content has been made without consent and of the rights allegedly infringed.
