You have chosen classroom as your favourite corner of the University. Why?
Well, because it is at classroom that I am most fulfilled and enriched. In the 27 years that I have been a teacher, I have always felt listened to there.

A committee that you usually give to your students
I tell them to stop being plebs. That they have to put into play the knowledge they have been acquiring. I don't know if they will pay much attention to me...

A book Patria. I lived through those years and it had a great impact on me. A film. Until the last man. It seemed to me to be the paradigm of the submission of the human being. Any song by Queen.

STUDENT NEWSLETTER
Alberto Pérez Mediavilla attends us in his office at Office of the Dean of Sciences. He would have liked to do it in a classroom, the place of the university where he feels more comfortable, but we are in rush hour of classes. He has been giving classes for 27 years to students of Science, Pharmacy, Medicine... and he transmits to us the enthusiasm of the first day.

With María Iraburu. I've known her since we did thesis together, and now I'd like to know what projects she has in mind. What would be the first question? What's next, María.

Those students who combine classes and study with other activities. Those who are in the conservatory, in a sports team...

I greatly admire the great conquistadors. Juan Sebastián Elcano or Blas de Lezo. I would like to know what was in their heads, what moved them to undertake such ventures...
11. How would you like to change the world
I think I can contribute to change it at contact with the people around me. By example, by caring, I can contribute to helping people who can go on to do great things.

My wife. We've been together for 40 years... and because she's very intelligent and positive, she would help me survive.
13. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Riding motorbikes with my friends, travelling with my wife and maybe looking after a grandchild.
14. Who do you nominate?
Juan Ruiz de Rato, student mine.
