Three projects of research of the ICS, funded by the Fundación Caja Navarra
Two of them belong to 'Education of affectivity and human sexuality' and the other to the Navarra Center for International Development.
Three projects of research of the Institute for Culture and Society of the University of Navarra have been funded by the Fundación Caja Navarra, within the call for grants for the Promotion of the research and the development.
Two of them correspond to 'Education of affectivity and human sexuality.'. They are 'Sexual risk behaviors after an HIV negative result in the committee and Voluntary HIV Diagnosis (VDD): study of its frequency and possible determinants in a Congolese population living in Kinshasa (DRCongo)', carried out by Silvia Carlos Chillerón; and 'Promotion partner-ecological sexual health of adolescents in Navarra', led by the Full Professor of Preventive Medicine Jokin de Irala. Both experts are also professors at School of Medicine.
It will also receive funding 'Transfer of the Moderna Plan to Countries in development', developed by Pedro Mendi, of the Navarra Center for International Development.
In addition to these, 13 other projects from the School of Architecture and from Schools of Science, Medicine, Economics and Pharmacy have also obtained grants in the 2014 call for proposals.
The activities benefited by the Caja Navarra Foundation are in the fields of social welfare, research and development, culture and sports, to which individuals and entities have applied. A total of 3.6 million euros will be allocated.
