The file General organizes the exhibition "Living in war, living the war: eighty years after 1936".

The sample collects 226 documents on the daily life of Spaniards during the civil war.

The file General of the University of Navarra has inaugurated in the entrance hall of the Main Library Building the exhibition entitled 'Living in war, living the war: eighty years after 1936', which will be open to the public until the end of September.

At sample , 226 documents from the Spanish Civil War are on display, with the goal aim of showing how the tragedy affected those who lived through it. "The aim is to explain the daily life of the Spanish people, insisting on everyday life, on the experience of the war, mainly in the rearguard, that is to say, touching the civilians," explains the curator of the exhibition, Francisco Javier Caspistegui.

The exhibition addresses the status of women and children in wartime conflict; the daily needs in terms of work, food and health; the dissemination of ideas and leisure in wartime; and the suffering reflected in letters and photographs. It can be visited at schedule from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in August and from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. in September.
