Victoria Rodríguez Chacón, new director of the ISSA School of Management Assistants of the University of Chile

The President of the University of Navarra, Alfonso Sánchez Tabernero, has appointed Victoria Rodríguez Chacón as director of ISSA School of Management Assistants. She replaces Professor María Jesús Álvarez at position , who will continue her work professor and research at the TECNUN School of Engineering of the University of Navarra in San Sebastián.
Rodríguez Chacón has served as Deputy Director of ISSA since 2015. She earned her Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from the University in 2002. For the past six years, she has been affiliated with department business department business School of Science and BusinessSchool of Science where she is a tenured professor and performs both academic and management duties.
He has worked in the field of innovation, internationalization and mainly in logistics at partnership with companies in the Basque Country and Navarra. All projects have focused on the development of quantitative tools to support decision making in the management of operations.
His area of research is focused on process improvement in both production and service companies. He has published the results of his research in journals of high scientific impact, and has made stays of research at the Laboratoire Analyse et Architecture des Systèmes (LAAS) in Toulouse and at the Universidad de La Sabana in Colombia.
