45 University students receive Caja Rural's Global Internship scholarships

The students, from Navarra, the Basque Country and La Rioja, will carry out international internships in nine non-EU countries.

45 students from the University of Navarra have received the Global Internship Program scholarships, awarded by Caja Rural at partnership with Career Services of the academic center. The students will carry out international internships in nine countries.

Argentina, Australia, Canada, Chile, USA, Hong Kong, Mexico, Singapore and Switzerland will be the destinations where the university students from Navarra, the Basque Country and La Rioja selected for the eighth edition of the program will spend their time. The beneficiaries belong to the Schools and schools of Architecture, Science, Economics, Education and Psychology, Nursing, Engineering and Medicine.

At the ceremony of submission of the scholarships, the president of Caja Rural de Navarra, Ignacio Terés, told the students that "this first work experience is a very important part of your training: financial aid to grow as people and learn about different points of view".

The Alumni Vice President , Tomás Gómez-Acebo, thanked Caja Rural for its commitment to talent and development and congratulated the students: "You have the merit of having been chosen, but also a great responsibility. We hope that during this internship you will make a great work, learn and enjoy yourselves". The event was also attended by the director Institutional Relations of Caja Rural, Ricardo Goñi; and the director Career Services, Roberto Cabezas.

The Global Internship Program aims to promote internships for university students in foreign companies and promote its internationalization. For the selection of the interns, the academictranscript , the level of language of the host country, the curriculum vitae and the quality of the work plan offered by the host business .
