More than 400 students take part in the 2017 Sports Gala
The University Museum hosted the 2017 Sports Gala on April 28, attended by more than 400 students, faculty and staff of the University and Navarre authorities.

The Navarre golfer Carlota Ciganda was awarded the scholarship of Honor for Sports for the 2016/17 academic year in recognition of her professional career and her partnership with the Sports Service the University. The athlete thanked the recognition and highlighted the efforts of the students awarded for successfully combining their programs of study and sports competition.

Among the award-winning Schools and Colegios Mayores, the School of Medicine was recognized as the absolute winner of the Trophy President 2017 and the School of Economic and Business Sciences as the most participative. Likewise, the high school Mayor Belagua Torre I received the award of the Best high school Mayor and the high school Mayor Goroabe, the one with the highest participation.
The Magician Numis, the winner of the "La Voz de la School de Económicas" contest, Luis Huici, and the jazz band "Tecnun Big Band" were in charge of the event, presented by the journalist María Goicoechea and the 3rd year ISSA student, María Pilar Pérez Asensio.
The awards were presented by some authorities such as the Councilor for Culture, Sports and Youth, Ana Herrera, the director of the high school Navarro Sports and Youth, Rubén Goñi, the Government Delegate, Carmen Alba, or the Vice President of the University Alumni, Tomás Gómez-Acebo.
