The high school Martín Azpilcueta has published an addendum to its 8th edition of the Code of Canon Law (CIC) which includes the new norms on the processes for declaring the nullity of canonical marriage, promulgated by Pope Francis in August 2015.

The work, which has been prepared by Rafael Rodríguez-Ocaña, professor of the University's School de Canon Law , aims to provide the reader of the Code with the new canons together with the updated Commentaries without waiting for a new edition of the work.

This appendix has also included the Rescript ex Audientia, on May 21, 2016, which affects the interpretation of canon 579 and the corresponding Commentary by Professor Tomás Rincón-Pérez.

In addition, at the end of the addendum is included the modification of some norms of the Code of Canon Law by means of the Apostolic Letter, in the form of Motu Proprio, De concordia inter Codices, made public at language Latin and Italian by the Holy See Press Office on September 15, 2016.
