Specifically, this partnership will be materialized through the support of the doctoral thesis "The care relationship in the family". At the signature of the agreement were present, on behalf of the association of Friends of the University of Navarra, its President, José María Bastero, the Director General, Roberto Bandrés and José Javier del Guayo, from the association of Friends in Madrid. Signing on behalf of the Caser Foundation was Juan Sitges, its director.
The "added social value" in the care of dependentsThe thesis will address the care of dependent persons in the family, starting from the analysis of their environment. It will study how care, understood as a social relationship, is capable of generating the so-called "relational goods" and consequently capital and "added social value". This notion serves to show how, when the care relationship is an authentically human relationship, it can be an opportunity for growth and development not only for the caregiver and the person being cared for, but also for the people close to them, for whom it can constitute an opportunity for intergenerational Education .
About the Caser Foundation for DependenceThe Caser Foundation for Dependency has as goal to be a great center multidisciplinary of study, reflection and social awareness about the needs of dependent people and their families.
