The University of Navarra has launched a new tool that personalizes the amount of the enrollment for each future student analyzing its economic status and staff in particular.

'La cost and scholarship calculator', tool pioneer in Spain, will show the future student the personalized cost of its enrollment depending on the income per family unit, the academictranscript , the Degree you decide to study, the issue of family members and origin, in addition to informing you of the various scholarships and grants to which you would have access.

This tool was created in response to the current status in which the purchasing power of families has decreased considerably, public resources are not sufficient to compensate for this reduced economic capacity of families, as well as the existing difficulty to resort to economic funds from the banking system. Up to now, the University has been able to count on the Alumni Scholarships and the Credits for Excellence that served as an economic support for the expense of the families, but these aids in many cases are insufficient. 

For academic year 2014-2015, the University will have these innovations that aim to reinforce the founding maxim "to try to prevent any student, with aptitude and interest, from being left without the opportunity to study at the University of Navarra for a strictly economic reason". The 'calculator', which has been worked on for the last four years, is operational on the portal web www.unav.edu/calculadora where more than 2,000 queries have already been registered in its first month of operation.
