Dr. Rubén Pío received the award at a congress in Vancouver (Canada), where he presented his work on a new tumor suppressor gene.
Dr. Rubén Pío received a Young Investigator Award (award to the young researcher), granted by the association International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC). This professor of the department of Biochemistry and researcher of the area of Carcinogenesis of the research center Applied Medicine (CIMA ) of the University of Navarra received the award at the congress World Lung Cancer Meeting held in Vancouver (Canada).
Dr. Pío received the diploma accrediting the award, during the plenary assembly of the IASLC, from the hands of the president of the association Dr. Kato. The expert from the University of Navarra presented at congress a summary of his work on a new tumor suppressor gene in lung cancer.
