The author, Croatian Damir Fabijanic, was involved in numerous projects to show the horrors of the war in Croatia.
The School of Communication of the University of Navarra organizes, between 9 and 10 November, the XV International Communication conference 'Reinventing the radio'.
The Central Building of the University of Navarra was the venue for a exhibition of the Croatian photographer Damir Fabijanic showing the landscape of the Dalmatian and Adriatic coast. The exhibition was organized by the Cultural Activities Office and Social Service.
Damir Fabijanic was born in Zagreb (Croatia) in 1955. A lover of photography, he collaborated with newspapers and magazines while studying at the technical school of Mechanical Engineering and Naval at the University of Zagreb. Between 1981 and 1987, while working as an engineer, he devoted himself more intensively to photography, with a special interest in architectural and landscape photography.
From September 1991, he took an active part in numerous photographic projects to show the horrors of the war in Croatia, both humanly and artistically. In love with the sea, he created a collection of photographs related to the Dalmatian coast and the Adriatic, a collection that could be admired in this exhibition.
His photographs have visited different places; Zagreb, Sarajevo, Vienna, Madrid, Paris, Bucharest, Lisbon, Athens, Arles, Croatia, Bratislava, Krakow, Buenos Aires or Hannover.
