The professor of Antwerp University (Antwerp, Belgium), Mr. Peter Van Bogaert has visited the School de Enfermería on the occasion of the VII Lección Chair María Egea. In his intervention he gave a lecture lecture under the degree scroll "The organizational context of nursing practice. Future steps in practice and research".
Prof. Van Bogaert also explained some details of his work in the Magnet Hospital program, which assesses nursing talent in healthcare organizations. During this explanation he stated that "the most attractive hospitals tend to training nurses and give nurses room for improvement staff".
Finally, he commented on the keys to making a professional healthcare team work, among which he highlighted "trust, cooperation and skill". "The personal and environmental conditions of a nurse are vital, they have a direct relationship with the quality of care," concluded the professor.
