The ICT of the University of Navarra, through Enterprise Europe Network, involved in 2,000 business meetings at Biospain 2010

The Scientific and Technological Institute of Navarra, within the Actis Consortium, coordinated the participation of the Enterprise Europe Network in the bilateral meetings of more than 700 companies from 30 countries.

The Scientific and Technological Institute of the University of Navarra (ICT), as the Navarra node of the network Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), has coordinated the participation of this network in the 5th edition of Biospain, which generated more than 2,000 business meetings with 700 companies from 30 countries.

The biennial event, held between September 29 and October 1 in Pamplona (Navarra), was organized by the association Spanish Biocompanies (ASEBIO). On this occasion, the Government of Navarra also participated in the organization through the Society of development of Navarra (SODENA), with the goal of promote the knowledge of biotechnology in Spain and contribute to its maximum development.

congress In this sense, the Biospain fair has been growing in its successive editions and is already considered as the most important biotechnology fair in the Mediterranean area .

Business meetings, meanwhile, are one of the most important activities of Biospain 2010. For this reason, and under the coordination of the ICT of the University of Navarra, the network Enterprise Europe Network attracted more than 120 companies to the event.

The co-organization counted with the partnership of a dozen members of the network EEN, the Agency of Economic development of La Rioja (ADER), the Technological Institute of Aragon (ITA), the Agency of development of the Basque Country (SPRI), the Institute of Development of Murcia, the Agencia de Innovación y development de Andalucía (IDEA), the Centro de Innovación y Transferencia de Tecnología de Andalucía, the committee Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), the Parque Científico de Madrid, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bordeaux (France); as well as Delta Tech, from South Korea, which participated for the first time as a partner country of network.
