The University, among the 250 best in the world according to the QS international ranking.

The academic center in Navarre stands out for its strength in employability and its international outreach

The University of Navarra is the 249th university in the world according to the QS World University Rankings 2025, which evaluates more than 5,660 universities in 106 countries.

This result represents an improvement of 31 positions compared to the previous edition. In Spain, the University repeats in fifth position, behind large state universities in Madrid and Barcelona, such as the Complutense University of Madrid, the University of Barcelona, the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the Autonomous University of Madrid, the top four of the 35 Spanish universities ranked.

According to QS, the University of Navarra is among the top 16% of the 1,503 best universities in the world that manage to qualify for the ranking after exceeding the minimum requirements for academic production and reputation.

According to the QS ranking indicators, the University of Navarra is strong for its employability and for its. international outreach. Thus, it obtains its maximum score in the indicator of reputation among employers, in which it is 108th in the world and third in Spain (improving 22 positions with respect to the previous edition). The center also stands out in the employability results indicator, being 137th in the world and only surpassed by two other universities in Spain. In terms of its internationalization, the University of Navarra is 196th in the world for the percentage of international students and second in Spain. The University also obtains good results in the student-teacher ratio, ranking fourth in Spain, and in the internationalization of its academic staff, in which it is fifth.

The Vice President for Students and International Relations, Rosalía Baena, congratulated the University of Navarra for its improved position in this edition. "It is always positive that two elements are recognized internationally that the student, both current and future, have in great consideration when choosing us: the connection with the business and our international vision," she said.

The British consulting firm QS uses data to draw up the ranking from various sources, such as information from more than 17 million scientific publications, of which 8,434 were from the University of Navarra, and 175 million academic citations, 155,145 from the Navarra center. To evaluate the reputation of the universities, QS asks which are the best universities through two surveys: on the one hand, to academics, with 1.9 million votes, and, on the other hand, to employers, who have deposited 600,000 votes in total.
