"You have to be well organized". The two extraordinary prizes for the end of degree program of the School in Economics, Miguel Ángel Zapatero and Alberto Iparraguirre, do not hesitate to share the secret of their success. Miguel Ángel, with a 9.4 on grade average , and Alberto, with a 9.2, are the two most brilliant students this year at School, and they both agree that there is no secret to raising the grade average : "You have to study long hours, yes, but if you organize your time, there is room for everything: friends, girlfriend, gym...", says Miguel Ángel.

"You shouldn't leave everything to the end, when the exams come, and you have to know how to prioritize," says Alberto. On average, during the degree program, they studied three or four hours a day, "more during exams," says Miguel Ángel, who considers it "suicide" to study only before finals. His recipe, in addition to earning him the extraordinary award at the end of the degree program, has led him to work in Dublin, at the headquarters of LinkedinI'm in the Leadership development Program, I'm the only Spaniard among the 10 participants," he says. The program consists of a one-year training pathway in which the candidate rotates through all the Departments until he or she ends up in sales. "If you are a good salesperson, you are a good leader," they say on Linkedin. Miguel Ángel is delighted: the weather is not so bad in Ireland - "it's exactly the same as in Pamplona, really" - and it's a "very young city, where you can breathe good vibes, I'm making a lot of friends", he says.

Alberto works in the Madrid office of the law firm Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira, and he also chose that work because of the rotation program and training: after three years trying out different legal areas, the business finances them a legal Master's Degree in the USA. Alberto has good memories of the Civil 2 and Public Sector courses, but he has a thorn in his side with Finance and Criminal Law 2. "And also all those related to econometrics, since I don't like numbers," he stresses.

Last week they returned to School to receive congratulations from Dean, Ignacio Ferrero, who also took the opportunity to comment on the promotion of the Economics alumni program, since " School is a school for life".
