12 graduates of the University of Navarra, from 7 countries, were ordained to the priesthood in Rome on May 4, 2013. Together with 19 other candidates, they received the priesthood from the hands of Bishop Javier Echevarría, Prelate of Opus Dei and Chancellor of the University.

The alumni of the academic center that have been ordained are Andrew Patrick Soane, from the United Kingdom (School of Theology); Josh Núñez Valero, from Nigeria (School of Theology); Keisuke Hazama, from Japan (School of Theology); Adolfo Luis Qüerio Casas, from Argentina (School of Theology); José Carlos Fernández Duarte, from El Salvador (high school business and Humanism); Gerald Mwenyi Nalyanya Wabukenda, from Kenya (School of Theology); and the Spaniards Onésimo Díaz Hernández (School of Philosophy and Letters), José Benigno Freire Salinas (TECNUN), Jose María Chiclana Actis (School of Canon Law), Javier Bujalance Fernández-Quero (School of Theology) and Álvaro Lino González Alonso (School of Law).

"Soon the Holy Spirit will descend upon you in a new way. You will receive his anointing, which will make you living instruments of God's grace, through the power to consecrate in persona Christi the Body and Blood of Our Lord, the School to forgive sins and the commission to preach the Word of God with his authority. It is a greatness compatible with our littleness: the Lord entrusts us with these gifts so that we can guide souls to eternal life", said Bishop Echevarría during his homily.
