The ICS obtains the Mecna distinction for cultural patronage from the Government of Navarre
It has been declared of social interest and will be eligible for the tax incentives contemplated in the Foral Law on Cultural Patronage.

The Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) of the University of Navarra has obtained the the Mecna distinction for cultural patronage from the from the Government of Navarra. The Institute is one of the 14 projects and Cultural Activities Office and 12 programs-subject declared of social interest, which will allow it to benefit from the Ley Foral Reguladora de Mecenazgo Cultural and receive contributions from patrons with tax incentives.
This declaration allows the contributions made to benefit from tax incentives for both individuals and companies. In the case of individuals, it allows a deduction from the IRPF quota of 80% of the first 150 euros contributed and 40% for the rest.
For companies, the amount contributed decreases the taxable base for corporate income tax as it is considered expense deductible and, in addition, a deduction of 30% of the net tax payable is obtained for the first 300 euros and 20% for the following 300 euros.
In addition to projects at research, the ICS organizes conferences and informative activities open to the public as part of its commitment to have an impact on society.
