The University welcomed the new students
The program of events, organized by Office of the Vice President of Students, included musical performances, sports competitions and a charity raffle.
Just a week after starting classes and as a novelty of this course, the students who begin their programs of study at the University of Navarra were the protagonists of the welcomeworkshop organized the Office of the Vice President of Students last Saturday.
The section of musical performances included tunas (high school Mayor Larraona and School de Medicina), Basque folklore (Duguna Folklore Taldea), regional dances (Hogar Extremeño de Navarra) and several singer-songwriters.
As for sports competitions, a cycling tour was held, with the participation of the Ermitagaña Cycling Club, a popular cross and a soccer match between the University of Navarra and Mutilvera (Regional preferential), which ended with a 2-3 victory for the visitors.
In addition to organizing a txistorrada, there were also attractions for children, a solidarity tombola and stands of companies, university entities, regional houses, etc. A train of visit toured the campus, with adults and children on board, to show buildings and corners of the university campus.
