La profesora de la Escuela de Enfermería Navidad Canga investiga sobre Enfermería Comunitaria y Epidemiología en la Universidad de Pensilvania
Navidad Canga School of Nursing professor researches Community Nursing and Epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania.
Navidad Canga, director of the department of Community and Maternal-Child Nursing at the University of Navarra, is currently doing a research stay at the University of Pennsylvania with the goal to broaden the study strategies in the area of Community Nursing and Epidemiology.
The professor and doctor of the School of Nursing will carry out her postdoctorate during the 2009-10 academic year at the U.S. academic center. Nuria Esandi, a graduate of the School of Nursing, is also there and will begin her doctorate at area in Geriatrics and Gerontology.
Both professionals have coincided in a course organized by the University of Pennsylvania with Dr. Patricia Benner, an internationally renowned nurse and professor of Ethics and Spirituality at the University of California (San Francisco); as well as a researcher at the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of teaching.
