The volume has been published by the prestigious German academic publishing house Peter Lang and includes works in English and Spanish.
Five linguists from the School of Philosophy and Letters and project 'Public discourse' of the Institute for Culture and Society (ICS) of the University of Navarra have edited the book Lingüística Teórica y Aplicada: nuevos enfoques. They are Nekane Celayeta Gil, Felipe Jiménez Berrio and Maite Iraceburu Jiménez (Philosophy y Letras), and Alberto de Lucas Vicente and Dámaso Izquierdo Alegría (ICS).
The volume, published by the prestigious German academic publishing house Peter Lang, gathers several programs of study that reflect the latest trends in theoretical and applied linguistics research from various perspectives framed in the different linguistic subdisciplines: Analysis of speech, Syntax, Semantics, Corpus Linguistics or Pragmatics, among others. It offers, therefore, an overview of the current linguistic research and highlights the heterogeneity within this field of knowledge.
This book gathers works in English and Spanish that analyze various phenomena of these languages, as well as Chinese, German, French, Italian, Aramaic or Croatian.
Theoretical and Applied Linguistics: New Approaches is volume 97 of the series 'Studien zur romanischen Sprachwissenschaft und interkulturellen Kommunikation'.
