The communication "Surviving suicide" and the video "Livable family diagram", winners of FORUN 2016.
"The footprint of the family" has been the central topic of the congress in which 450 people between teachers and students have participated.
The written communication 'Surviving suicide: the role of the family dynamics in psychiatric illness' and the video 'Diagrama habitable de la familia' are the winning works of congress FORUN 2016 of the University of Navarra. A total of 47 written communications and 20 videos were submitted by students from different Schools of the academic center. The congress, now in its sixth edition, was attended by 350 students and a hundred professors who reflected on "The Footprint of the Family".
The winning written communication, directed by Professor Felipe Ortuño, has been made by the students of Schools of Medicine and Pharmacy and Nutrition: Miren Urrestarazu, Sananda Moctezuma, Ikerne Eguren and Sara Castro. The winning video, directed by Professor Fernando Molina, was made by the students of Schools of Architecture and ISSA: Álvaro Aranda, Ezequiel Moreno, Pol Molas and Javier Apaolaza.
In addition, within the congress a Contest of discussion was held in which 15 groups and a total of 36 students participated. The group formed by the students Guillermo Mislata (Philosophy+Law), Teo Peñarroja (Philosophy+Journalism) and Óscar Pau (Philosophy+Law) obtained the first prize award . The award for the best speaker went to Jerónimo Ayesta, student of the double Degree of Philosophy and Journalism.
The congress was closed by the Alumni Vice President Tomás Gómez-Acebo, who encouraged the students to "continue to squeeze" the professors and enjoy them. He also emphasized the importance of not missing the opportunity provided by the university years to deepen their reading, so important for the preparation of the communications of this congress.
For his part, Carlos Naya, academic director FORUN especially thanked the work of the students of the organizing committee , as well as the support received throughout the course of Javier Escrivá, director of high school of Family Sciences, and the School of Nursing, for being the School "friend" of this edition.
