"One of the main reasons I chose Master's Degree E-MENU was the opportunity it offered to do the TFM abroad. From the very beginning it was clear to me that Copenhagen was the place, but the topic of project also had to be attractive. After evaluating it with director and the coordinators of Master's Degree, that option became a choice," says Iratxe Urkia.

Iratxe has a degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of the Basque Country and last year she completed the EuropeanMaster's Degree in Food, Nutrition and Metabolism (E-MENU). She did her final work Master's Degree at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark), in the department of Nutrition, Exercise and Sports.

As she recalls, the beginnings were not easy: "Copenhagen is a city where looking for accommodation is an odyssey". "I don't forget that status was hard for me at first, but as the days went by I felt more and more confident and motivated in my project, which has been reflected in the excellent result obtained," she explains. "And the same at the staff level: once I was definitely in place, my friendships and extra-work activities grew (climbing, swing dancing, bike rides, concerts...)," she adds.

For Iratxe, the people she met there were a great support and a fundamental reason why her experience during the four months she worked there was unforgettable. As was the project she carried out. "In the end, I ended up working on an individual project . That meant I got to work with a lot of independence. Although for any enquiry I could turn to my tutors in Copenhagen or Pamplona, I was the only manager of the content control and time organization. This autonomy was very rewarding," she concludes.
