Volkswagen Navarra and Tecnun start up a production Master's Degree
Aimed at both the automotive sector and other industrial sectors.
To train experts in production management. That is the goal of the Master's Degree that Volkswagen Navarra and Tecnun, the Engineering School of the University of Navarra in San Sebastian, have just launched. The new program incorporates the strategies, models and tools that have made the automotive sector a reference letter at management of industrial production.
The close relationship that has existed for years between Volkswagen Navarra and the University of Navarra has been core topic for the proposal and definition of this eighteen-month program. Master's Degreewhich lasts eighteen months. Thus, the students of the program will combine the programs of study in San Sebastian with training theoretical and internship in the classrooms of the Volkswagen Academy and in the production plant of Volkswagen Navarra, both located in the Industrial Park of Landaben of the Community of Navarra. Students will be able to develop the work End of Master's Degree in Pamplona, in other plants of group Volkswagen or in any business that has a production plant.
Bearing in mind that automotive companies have been a reference letter in subject of production and process optimization since the beginning of the last century to date, the Master's Degree will offer knowledge advanced in quality, maintenance, Lean Manufacturing, management environmental, logistics, planning, information systems, work in team, communication, project management and management , etc.
The new Master's Degree is not strictly limited to the automotive sector but covers production in any sector. Production being a core element in any business, students will have experienced professors from companies or from the field of consultancy service who will offer their vision around topic.

Graduates will be able to work in any business of any sector that wants to put in internship the forms of organization of the automotive sector". Santos also emphasizes the diverse background of the students "from any engineering with an industrial base to graduates in business administration and management.
