Co-directed by Ignacio García and Jihad Miahael, it features Borja Quintas and Liuba Cid as musical and artistic directors, respectively, as well as performances by Spanish and Arab artists: Spanish dancers Jesús Carmona and Lucía Campillo, and Arab singer and poet Cynthia Karam and Rafic Ali Ahmad complete the cast. The participation of young people will be very noticeable, as the musical performance will be carried out by the nearly 70 students who are part of the University of Navarra Symphony Orchestra. University students from the Choir and the Performing Arts Production Program promoted by the academic center will also participate. Without a doubt, this experience will be very significant in the training development stagestaff the nearly one hundred students ultimately involved in this great production.

"Algarabía" tells the story of a young Arab botanist (Cynthia Karam) who embarks on a journey of finding Spain, studying the ancient botanical theory of flowers. Her approach contrasts with the instinctive love that a Spanish florist (Jesús Carmona) has for flowers, their aromas, and colors. Other figures appear on stage, such as the dancer Lucía Campillo, who plays the role of a Spanish botanist.

The creative process has been developed over the last year and a half, and has been made possible thanks to the support of the Emirati Khawla Foundation, whose relationship with the University of Navarra Museum was already reflected in 2023 with its entrance board of trustees and is now reinforced in this joint artistic production.
