César Martín-Gómez participates in an international seminar in Edinburgh on fire protection.
The School's professor was the only Spaniard at meeting, in which experts from Australia, United Kingdom, Italy, USA, Germany, Denmark, Belgium and New Zealand took part.
César Martín-Gómez, professor at School of Architecture of the University of Navarra, participated in the international seminar 'Sociology of Fire Safety Engineering', held in Scotland. The 2013 LRET Global Technical Leadership Seminar in Fire Safety Engineering was organized by the BRE Centre of the University of Edinburgh.
Professor Martín-Gómez was the only Spanish participant at meeting, in which experts from Australia, United Kingdom, Italy, USA, Germany, Denmark, Belgium and New Zealand took part.
Among them were internationally renowned specialists such as José Torero, from the University of Queensland; Luke Bisby, from the BRE Center at the University of Edinburgh; and Vincent Brannigan, from the University of Maryland.
The seminar aims to become a forum for multidisciplinary experts in fire protection engineering to share the latest developments in this field and contribute to the development of this sector of the Building.
