The University of Navarra has signed today a partnership agreement with Caja Rural de Navarra for the academic year 2013-2014 by which the financial institution will support the development of various activities. The agreement has been signed by Alfonso Sánchez-Tabernero, President of the academic center, and the president of Caja Rural de Navarra, José Luis Barriendo.

Among the grants, the one aimed at Degree and mobility scholarships for students stands out. Specifically, mobility International Scholarships will be financed for 66 students, with the goal of promote for student internships in countries around the world. Likewise, Caja Rural will support the program Alumni Scholarships, for students with good transcript and without economic resources. 

The agreement also provides support for sports and cultural activities. In this sense, students of the University of Navarra will be offered the possibility of making a test of effort and elaborate an annual training plan with follow-up within the Sports Talent Programthanks to the agreement that Caja Rural maintains with the Vitasport Sports and Health Center.

Business activities

In the business section , both institutions will support the training activities of Fundación business -Universidad de Navarra and initiatives such as the "Manager" business game, in which students simulate competitive business environments. On the other hand, Caja Rural de Navarra will organize, together with the School of Economic and Business Sciences, the Stock Market Game.

The agreement also includes the sponsorship of the entrepreneurship program "Venture Booster For Young Entrepreneurs", which has as goal the long-term creation deadline of an environment of work for the development of entrepreneurship in the University environment.

Finally, the agreement contemplates several advantageous conditions in the products and services of Caja Rural for the employees of the University of Navarra.
