The best dubstepper in the world, Marquese Scott, made a surprise performance his first performancein the hall of the School of Communication of the campus of the University of Navarra in front of about 400 students. This performance, programmed outside the official diary of the cycle "Coda en movimiento", is a gesture of the American dancer towards the university students of Pamplona to bring the world of contemporary dance to young people.

Scott is a renowned choreographer and dancer specializing in the "dubstep" technique who has garnered significant success thanks to the videos of his choreographies on YouTube, which have more than 200 million views, making him the most famous urban dancer through the network. He has appeared on television shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show hosted by popular host Ellen DeGeneres twice and in commercials for major brands such as Coca Cola, Oreo, HP, and Google.

The "dubstep" is a subject music, which belongs to the genre of electronic music, and originated in South London in the late nineties. Scott incorporates it into his choreographies, which he performs with elements of syncopated, reverse, "pupping" y "tutting".

He was in Spain to open the second edition of the cycle "Coda en movimiento", curated by the dance critic of El País, Roger Salas, and which focuses on the relationship between historical dance cinema and the collective report on the development of modern ballet. "Cinema is a creative and documentary tool , moving from the role of "modeling clay" to that of "aesthetic witness". For dance, for its history, from the invention of photography to today's super-digital media, the recording of dance has been an obsession and an instrument of experimentation and achievement," explains Roger Salas.
