workshop ArcGIS 10.3: Learn what's new in the platform
The University of Navarra collaborates with the business ESRI in the presentation of the novelties of its GIS products.
The workshop of presentation of the new features of the ArcGIS 10.3 platform, undisputed world leader in the field of geographic information systems was attended yesterday by about fifty people. Among them were representatives of public administrations: Government of Navarra, Mancomunidad de la Comarca de Pamplona, City Councils; of companies: Nasuvinsa, Tracasa, Indra, Geosmart and of the academic world: University of Navarra and Public University of Navarra.
Among the innovations presented in the field of geographic information systems, the possibility of creating 3D web scenes, the new tools for generating apps that can be configured by users without programming knowledge and the new ArcGIS Pro desktop mapping were highlighted.
In the framework of the workshop, the third edition of the Expert Course in Geographic Information Systems was also presented, degree scroll of the University of Navarra, which will be offered from September 2015.
The workshop was organized jointly by the business ESRI Spain and by the department of History, Art History and Geography of the School of Philosophy and Letters of the University of Navarra.
