Professor Patxi Mangado of the School of Architecture of the University of Navarra Patxi Mangado has received the award Francisco de Javier 2021 awarded by the Government of Navarra for his career in the field of Architecture, the teaching and for his promotion of the interaction of this discipline with other fields of knowledge.
In grade press release, the Regional Executive highlighted the extensive degree program professor and internship of Architecture of Patxi Mangado, Extraordinary Professor of the School. Likewise, Mangado - an alumnus of the University of Navarra - has also been visiting professor at Harvard, at the School of Architecture of Yale, at l'École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne, at Cornell University (2013-14/2014-15) and visiting professor at the Politecnico di Milano (2015-2016). Finally, in 2014 he was appointed Honorary Professor at the University congress of Mendoza City-Argentina.
The award Francisco de Javier has been awarded since 2009 in recognition of individuals, entities and institutions that, through their activities outside the region, project an image of Navarre that contributes to the progress, welfare and improvement of society.
