Coexistence is possible because borders are a human invention.
Mahmoud Alwani, Political Counselor of the Embassy and Chief of Staff of the Ambassador of Palestine, intervened in the dialogue table organized by the high school Mayor Aldaz
"Israel is the only country whose borders are not defined and are marked by its tanks", said Mahmoud Alwani, Political Counselor of the Embassy and Head of the Cabinet of the Ambassador of Palestine, in his intervention at the dialogue table organized by the high school Mayor Aldaz, which took place at the University of Navarra. He emphasized that "coexistence is possible because borders are a human invention".
According to Alwani, for two peoples to live in harmony, states must be able to negotiate with equal rights. "The politics of economic interest gets us nowhere. Peace has only one path and we must reach out for a just and lasting peace, which is a guarantee of security."
The session is part of the cultural cycle "Frontiers", organized by the high school Mayor Aldaz. The cycle aims to use dialogue as a tool for conflict resolution and friendship between nations. For this reason, representatives from different embassies of countries currently in conflict have been summoned to listen to their position and generate such dialogue.
