The Chair María Egea, from the School of Nursing of the University of Navarra, has awarded two scholarships of four thousand euros each. Thanks to this financial aid, two students, Ana María Quesada and María Elena Bermúdez, will study next year the Master's Degree in internship Advanced and management in Nursing.

These programs of study offer a pioneeringtraining that promotes leadership in the nursing profession, combining two professional profiles of nursing: the advanced internship and management. The aim of goal is to educate in the capacity for transformational leadership development , in an efficient and humanistic way, responding to the new health needs of the health system. This is why students acquire competencies in research, decision making, organization, planning and management in Nursing. It is an official degree program and has the partnership professor of the IESE Business School.

María Egea Chair

The Chair María Egea for the research in Nursing was approved on January 30, 2007. It is an initiative created by the School of Nursing to channel the commitment of training and research in the field of nursing itself , promoting those activities that contribute to deepen the principles that underpin it and that can generate, with their own voice, new useful knowledge to provide better care to the person, family and community.

The Chair allows to promote the lines of study and research in Nursing at the University of Navarra, in order to improve care.
