The School of Pharmacy organizes a solidarity awareness workshop on the occasion of World Food Day.
Health professionals, NGO managers and students who have worked as development workers in Guatemala, India and Kenya will participate in the event.
On the occasion of the celebration of World Food Day, next Tuesday, October 16, the School of Pharmacy of the University of Navarra organizes a solidarity awareness workshop aimed at teachers, students and anyone who wants to come to participate in this activity, in which professionals of the pharmaceutical and health sector, and NGO leaders will explain the health needs and essential medicines of the projects they develop, as well as possible ways of partnership.
The workshop will be held from 7 pm at the auditorium of Sciences Building, and will be attended by the President of Pharmacists without Borders, Rafael Martínez; the president of the Onay Foundation, Inés de Dorronsoro, and the Hematologist Doctor, Antonio Medarde, (Mother and Child Hospital Monkole, Congo). On the other hand, Vanesa Galech, Enric Olesti, Iñaki Lezaun and Marta Alonso, students of Degree of Pharmacy and Degree of Human Nutrition and Dietetics will give their testimony as cooperants in Guatemala, India and Kenya, respectively.
