Maddi Perurena is a 1st year student of Degree in Management Assistant and is part of the University's Sports Talent Program .

Maddi Perurena has started this academic year the Degree in Management Assistant and for the first time she is also part of the Sports Talent Program for the first time. To train she has changed the tracks of Tolosa, her hometown, for the Larrabide stadium in Pamplona.
He started practicing track and field when he was 9 years old and, although when he was at high school he also practiced other sports such as basketball and soccer, he assures that none of them complemented him as much as running and jumping hurdles, his specialization program: "Track and field allows me to let go of all the stress and end the day with a smile, even if the day has been lousy".
She chose the Degree in Management Assistant because she "always" knew she liked marketing, the advertising and the world of business in general: "The degree program is designed to be able to work in international companies and I would like to work moving around the world".
"Mens sana in corpore sano" is her answer when asked about how she combines sport with programs of study. "After sport I come home relaxed so I can concentrate. The training at Degree helps me develop the value of effort. Besides, athletics allows me to relate to different people, to learn to control my nerves, to be a good person, to be orderly and to organize my life in a more useful way, which is also very important for work and for life itself".
On the sporting side, in the short term, she would like to improve her record and reach the final in the Spanish athletics championship, because, as she explains, she has always come up short after competing in the semifinals. And in the future she would love to make it to the Olympics: "It's been my dream since I was a little girl".
