The Science Museum of the University of Navarra launches the "Tuesdays on Mars" cycle to bring society closer to the reality of the red planet.

During four Tuesdays, different experts will analyze, in an informative way, the latest news about the planet Mars.

The Science Museum of the University of Navarra, in partnership with the Planetarium of Pamplona and Laboral Kutxa, have organized "Tuesdays on Mars", a series of sessions aimed at bringing to society, in an informative way and from the hand of experts, the latest news about this planet.

The series will begin on Tuesday April 13 with the session "Conquering Mars: space missions" given by Iñaki Ordóñez, researcher of the group of Planetary Sciences of the University of the Basque Country UPV/EHU. On Tuesday April 20 it will be the turn of Javier Armentia, astrophysicist and director of the Pamplona Planetarium, who will talk to the audience about "The red planet". position The third lecture will be held on April 27th and will be given by Carlos Briones, CSIC scientist at the Center for Astrobiology, with the degree scroll "Martians: in search of extraterrestrial life". On the last Tuesday (May 4) Fernando Jáuregui, astrophysicist at the Pamplona Planetarium, will hold a special session at the conference room Tornamira of the Planetarium.

All sessions will begin at 19:00 hours and the first three will be held in person at auditorium of the University of Navarra's Sciences Building -with limited seating capacity and following the recommendations of the health authorities- and can also be followed live on the Science Museum's YouTube channel

"Tuesdays on Mars" is a lecture series that is part of the series "The Science Museum Explains", an activity where current scientific issues are addressed with rigor, clarity and by experts.
