The 12 seminars of the University of Navarra course aim to discover the role of Genetics in the diagnosis of leukemias and lymphomas.
Professors and graduates from department of Genetics of the University of Navarra participate as speakers in a course at update on the genetic diagnosis of hematological neoplasms, a heterogeneous group of malignant diseases affecting the blood, bone marrow and lymph nodes.
The third edition of this course, coordinated by the Genetic Analysis Service of the academic center and the Hematology Service of the Hospital de Navarra, will be held until June 1 at classroom of teaching of the Hospital de Navarra.
In addition to María José Calasanz, professor of Genetics and director of the Genetic Analysis Service of the University of Navarra, the team of experts also includes the graduates Juan Cruz Cigudosa, from the Spanish National Cancer Research Center (CNIO); Iñaki Martín Subero, from the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona and member of the IDIBELL Foundation; and Xabi Aguirre, researcher of research center Applied Medicine (CIMA) of the academic center.
