The itinerant reliquary of St. John of Avila remained exposed in the chapel of School of Ecclesiastical Studies during the morning of March 12 for veneration.
It is a silver and bronze reliquary, paid for by the diocesan clergy of Cordoba, which houses the left clavicle and part of the saint's heart.
From its sanctuary in Montilla (Córdoba), the reliquary, guarded by its bearer Francisco Javier Garzón, has already traveled more than 30,000 km. through various Spanish dioceses.
