Several students from the Degree at International Office of the University of Navarra's School Law School attended the II International Cycle of Leadership Conferences at the General Military Academy of Zaragoza on 27 and 28 February. During these conference, they learned from different speakers such as Jake Miraldi, captain of West Point USA; Paolo Divizia, lieutenant colonel of the Italian Army, or Juan Gómez de Salazar Mínguez, lieutenant general chief of the Land Force of the Spanish Army.

In the conferences, the different speakers shared their experiences and explained aspects such as the importance of a capable leader when participating in military operations, the need to confront crises of various origins and the convenience of adopting general responses in which both international military and civilians cooperate. But above all, they conveyed a series of values, such as commitment, involvement, example, responsibility and passion, which are certainly necessary to contribute to training as leaders.

The students' experience was a great opportunity to share different opinions, to learn and above all to get to know the demands of today's world. As Alexander the Great said: "I am not afraid of a legion of lions led by a sheep, but of a legion of sheep led by a lion".
