IESE Business School of the University of Navarra obtains AACSB International accreditation
Only four Spanish universities and 5% of the world's business schools have received it.
The University of Navarra's IESE Business School has earned AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business) accreditation , making it the fourth Spanish school to receive it. "I congratulate IESE for its submission in management training and for its leadership in the industry," said Jerry Trapnell, executive vice president of AACSB International. "With this accreditation, IESE has not only met the standards of excellence, but is committed to continuous improvement to ensure that the school will continue to offer high quality teaching .
593 schools in 37 countries have been accredited by the AACSB, which represents 5% of the world's business schools. To achieve the credential, it is necessary to follow a rigorous assessment process that can take several years. During that time, the school must develop and implement a plan to meet the required standards: a high-quality professor environment, a commitment to continuous improvement, and an adaptation to the needs of the business world. Once granted, the recognized school must undergo a review process every five years to maintain AACSB status.
Founded in 1916, AACSB International is an association of more than 1,200 schools and institutions, with a presence in 74 countries and territories, whose mission statement is to promote quality Education worldwide.
