International students from USA, UK and Hong Kong attend Nursing Summer School
More than 60 students from 6 different universities participate in classes, hospital visits and Cultural Activities Office at School of Nursing

The School of Nursing of the University of Navarra has celebrated the sixth edition of the Nursing Summer School. This is a program in English with the participation of more than 60 students from seven universities in the United States such as Indiana University, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, University of Pennsylvania, University of Tennessee; from the United Kingdom such as the University of Stirling; and from Hong Kong such as Hong Kong University. In addition, students from the International Nursing Program of the University of Navarra are participating.
The participating students have been able to attend to classes on the model of Nursing of the University of Navarra, the Spanish health system, nursing in Spain or the promotion of healthy lifestyles in the child population. They also had the opportunity to visit the Clínica Universidad de Navarra and the Navarra Hospital Complex.
In the afternoons, attendees were able to enjoy cultural plans such as a visit to San Sebastian, the Franco-Españolas wineries and an afternoon of pintxos in Logroño.
The Nursing Summer School of the University of Navarra is a course aimed at students of Degree that aims to explore the challenges of Nursing today and compare different healthcare systems in a multicultural context. The program, which began in 2014 and is open to Nursing students from international academic centers, has each year a larger issue of participants willing to delve into different ways of understanding their future profession.
