The University of Navarra signature a agreement with Nafarco
The School of Pharmacy and the Navarra cooperative consolidate their partnership to reinforce the training of students in the pharmaceutical distribution sector.

The School of Pharmacy of the University of Navarra has signed a partnership agreement with Nafarco, a pharmaceutical cooperative from Navarra, which from this academic year 2014-2015 consolidates the partnership between both institutions to strengthen the training of students in this sector of the profession. The agreement has been signed by Adela López de Cerain, dean of the academic center, and Juan Miguel Díaz García, president of the cooperative society.
goal The alliance was established with the aim of"bringing pharmacy students closer to the professional reality of the pharmaceutical distribution sector, which is little known in general among future pharmacists," says López de Cerain. This reflects, according to Díaz García, "the desire to join forces and offer the next generations of pharmacists a greater knowledge to face the new challenges of this sector". The signature of this agreement is located in the framework of the commemorative events of the 50th anniversary of the School of Pharmacy, of which Nafarco is one of its sponsors.
To broaden the knowledge of the future pharmacy professionalAmong the various actions agreed upon, the students of the Pharmacy School will visit Nafarco's facilities every year to learn first-hand about pharmaceutical distribution processes. In addition, the cooperative will offer students "the possibility of summer internships," says Díaz García.
Regarding training reinforcement, Nafarco will participate in the training of students through the Diploma in management Pharmaceutical and annual sessions and conferences on management, distribution and marketing of pharmaceutical products. The company also establishes a direct communication channel with the academic center for the dissemination of information on employment offers, training courses and current pharmaceutical topics of interest to future pharmacy professionals.
