His colleagues and students paid a small tribute to him as sample to thank him for his work. professor
Last Tuesday, December 1st, Professor Marimi Suberviola (Lasarte, Gipuzkoa), taught her last class at ISSA School of Management Assistants. Her colleagues and students paid her an endearing tribute to thank her for 33 years of teaching at ISSA.
Professor of Accounting, Financial management , Calculus, ... for more than three decades, all students who have passed through her classes have very good memories of her for her closeness and availability. Recently some graduates commented on Facebook their affection towards her "Una profe 10", "Olé y olé, la mejor profe del mundo mundial!" or "super Marimi" were some of the adjectives they used.
These are some of his memories
1- How do you remember your first day at the University?
I remember my first day with a lot of nerves before starting the class, but at the same time with a great illusion because my dream came true: "to be a teacher".
2- There are many graduating classes you have taught at class, the teachers with whom you have shared faculty and the colleagues who have passed through ISSA. What do you take with you from them?
I started teaching in October 1982, so 34 classes have passed through my classrooms and many colleagues have passed through ISSA's conference room (now conference room de Profesores); you learn from all of them. From the students I have learned patience and understanding; from my colleagues I take the best of each one of them.
3- Throughout these years you have seen many changes in the University and in ISSA. Which one has impressed you the most?
The big change, I think that more than change it is a great achievement, has been the obtaining of the Degree in attendance of Management, that finally the programs of study are official and also that the student body is mixed.
4- What does it mean to have been part of the faculty of the School of Management Assistants?
It has been a great honor. As time goes by, you realize that it is also "your other family" since they accompany you throughout your life, both in good times and bad.
5- Do you remember any anecdote that has marked your years at teaching?
There are so many that it is difficult for me to remember one in particular.
6- What committee would you give to a teacher who has just joined the University?
It is a totally vocational profession, but in addition to preparing the classes well, you have to love the students, treat them all equally, not disrespect them and have a lot of "patience".
7- What are your plans from now on, in this new stage you are starting?
To continue enjoying my family and especially my husband who has always supported me in everything. Thanks to him I have been able to fulfill myself both staff and professionally. We only ask for health to be able to travel and enjoy with our children.
