The master's degrees of the School of Sciences gather 42 new students

26 students start the Master's Degree in research Biomedical and 16 students start the Master's Degree in Computational Methods in Science.

Last Tuesday, September 14, the opening ceremony of the XIII edition of the Master's Degree in research Biomedicine was held at the auditorium of the Cima University of Navarra. The event was attended by Inmaculada Pascual, Vice-Dean of postgraduate program of the School of Sciences, Guillermo Zalba, director of Master's Degree, and Antonio Pineda, director of research Traslational and director of the Molecular Therapies Program of Cima University of Navarra.

The new edition of the program begins with 26 students enrolled, mostly from Spain (17 students from Navarra, Barcelona, Malaga and Bizkaia) while 9 are international students (United States, Panama, Mexico, Uganda, Nicaragua, Ecuador and Peru). Of the students enrolled, 9 are studying the specialization program in Cancer, 6 are studying Regenerative Medicine and Advanced Therapies, 4 are studying Neuroscience and Cognition, and 7 are studying research Translational.



The closing ceremony of the XII edition was also held on September 14. The event -which took place at the classroom Magna of Central Building- was presided over by Luis MontuengaDean of the School of Sciences. Juan Cruz CigudosaThe Regional Government's Minister of University, Innovation and Digital Transformation, gave the attendees a session on ".Personalized Medicine: challenges and answers for its implementation. internship". After indicating that investment in knowledge is the investment with the highest return, the Minister stressed in his speech the importance of knowledge biosanitary, especially when dealing with this post-pandemic period, because "without knowledge there will be no recovery".



On the other hand, on Monday, September 13, at 12:00 noon, the closing ceremony of the first edition and the opening of the second promotion of the Master's Degree in Computational Methods in Science. The event took place at the auditorium of Sciences Building and was attended by Luis Montuenga, Dean of the School, and Angel Garcimartindirector of Master's Degree and professor at School. In this second edition, 16 students are participating, 13 from Spain (Navarra, Seville, Madrid and Alicante) and 3 from abroad (Peru, Guatemala and Panama).
